Sterling Oil & Chemical Co., Inc. is a Michigan corporation founded in 1976 that blends, warehouses and distributes industrial lubricants to the automotive and related industries.

Blending and warehousing are carried out through its wholly owned subsidiary, Sterling Services, Ltd, a separate Michigan corporation located at its 1530 Commor, Hamtramack, MI 48212 terminal. This tank farm is located on the near Northside of Detroit, occupies over 5 acres with a total storage capacity of almost 5 million gallons consisting of 45 above ground tanks ranging from 4,000 to 500,000 million gallon capacity. Sterling Oil's administration is handled at 26645 W. 12 Mile Road, Suite 100, Southfield MI, 48034. Operations consist of brining in raw materials via own tanker trucks and leased rail tank cars to Sterling Services terminal for handling, storing, and blending as industrial lubricants primarily generic hydraulic oils, greases and petroleum products for other companies such as Dow and ExxonMobil. The resultant non-hazardous products are delivered primarily via our own tanker trucks to customers.
